Soul Food Ministries was founded to nourish lives—spiritually, physically, and emotionally—by providing life support solutions to those in need. Rooted in faith, service, and community transformation, we equip individuals, churches, and communities through discipleship, outreach, leadership development, and crisis intervention. To expand our reach, Soul Food Network was created as a subsidiary of Soul Food Ministries, serving as a hub for training, community engagement, and financial sustainability. It supports our mission by offering training, strategic support services (consulting, chaplaincy, crisis counseling), and funding outreach programs through digital products and partnerships. We invite individuals, businesses, and churches to partner with us through monthly support, helping us transform lives and expand Kingdom impact. Together, we can make a lasting difference.

We proudly collaborate with Way of Life Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring and counseling at-risk youth in crime-ridden and underprivileged communities. Together, we work to provide guidance, support, and positive life direction for those most vulnerable.

We are affiliated with The CTC Network, in order to deliver high-quality training and development in chaplaincy services, crisis intervention, and disaster management. Through this opportunity, we are able offer quality services to needed to respond professionally and effectively in times of crisis.

We are affiliated with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) whom has provided certifications in psychological crisis intervention. These certifications, backed by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, equips us with the expertise to provide quality services.

We are affiliated with Hope Plaza partners whom is able to offer quality training and certifications in disaster response, and chaplaincy. They are affiliated with the International Federation of Chaplains and the Billy Graham Association, ensuring the highest standards in Chaplaincy Services.

Meet Our Directors

CLYDE BAIN JR. - Chief Executive officer - Responsibility for strategic direction and operations. Expertise in emergency and disaster management, church planting, and revitalization, partnerships development and training.

LINDA D. BAKER – Chief Operating Officer- Responsibility for community engagement and operations. Expertise in administration, Human Resources, and Counseling. Linda holds certifications as a Professional in Human Resources, as well as certification in Paraprofessional Counseling.

RYAN FORBES – Treasurer - Responsibility for financial oversight and project management. Expertise in project management, and international non-profit organizations management. Ryan has served with Praying Pelicans and Convoy Of Hope, and has held leadership roles in local government.

DARRELL PINDER – Secretary - Responsibility for organizational administration and mentorship. Expertise in business management and community building, mentorship, and evangelism. Darrell is the Bahamas Regional Director and an elder with 420 Fire, a Pentecostal non denominational Church.
